Good book. Only problem is getting my middle school
Good book. Only problem is getting my middle school child to read it. It would probably have been better to give this to my son before he got into middle school when he was a bit more nervous about starting middle school.Michael G.
Excellent
I wish I had found this book earlier. My daughter struggles with organization and her grades suffered because of it. I bought this because it looked like a fun way for her to learn without being too preachy and more importantly she is able to follow along with the podcast. So far she likes listening and following along with the classroom antics and trying to figure out which student portrays her. I'm going to work with her this summer. I'll write a follow after school begins and she can put what she learns into practice.Lori R.
Its a great book with tons of useful helps
I bought this for my 13 year old. Its a great book with tons of useful helps. I would recommend going through it with your kids however. Teaching organization skills is a hands--on thing.Sunita

Start off a step ahead
My 12 year old son loved this tongue in cheek look at problems with disorganization and how to correct some habits before 7th grade. He was the child described in the book with the school planner that had one or two things written in it and papers falling out of his backpack! He has taken ownership of creating binders that work for him based on the author suggestions. He has created his workspace, made use of many of the websites the author directed him to and feels like he has a basis for organizing his time and work this year. This was just what we needed to get Mom off his back and for him to claim the responsibility.Leslie L.
