Susan Mulcaire is a teacher and mother of three from Orange County, California. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley, a law degree (J.D.) from Santa Clara University School of Law, and a teaching credential from Concordia University in Irvine, California.

Having practiced law for over twenty years, she knows that there are similarities between managing a legal caseload and managing a middle school workload. Like a lawyer, middle school students are always dealing with deadlines, due dates and scheduling. There’s a load of paperwork, and students must be prepared every day for their “practice.” It’s hectic!

In The Middle School Student’s Guide to Ruling the World!,  The Middle School Student's Guide to Ruling the World! (Instructor's Guide) and the S.O.S. Podcast Program, she combines her experience as a middle school mom, teacher and lawyer, with a dose of middle school humor. The result is a fun and comprehensive program for teaching middle school (and soon-to-be middle school) students good work management and organizational skills for success in school!
